Chris Shields
Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy)
Masters of Osteopathy
Chris graduated from the University of Western Sydney in December 2006 and relocated to Port Macquarie to commence his professional career. In 2010, he established his own clinic in Taree, where he continues to practice.
Chris combines the most up to date research evidence with his professional knowledge, skills, and expertise to help people lead less painful and more productive lives. He also enjoys empowering people to manage their own health by teaching practical skills and self-help tools.

Diagnosis, Prognosis and Treatment Plan (referral for further scans or follow up with your GP may be indicated prior to treatment)

Hands on treatment based around your preferences

Hands on treatment methods may include advanced soft tissue work, Muscle Energy Technique, Mobilsation, articulation, manipulation

Remedial exercise and occupational, lifestyle recommendations if needed

Follow up consultations normally last approx 40 mins and involve checking progress, re-examination and further treatment if necessary
